It's Halloween; time to focus on films filled with things that go bump in the night. For now, that means K-horror. I've reviewed three:
Whispering Corridors,
Whispering Corridors 2: Memento Mori,
Whispering Corridors 3: Wishing Stairs.
Someone actually had the nerve to re-edit The Big Sleep, and it's good. Read my review.
No comedy series was better than the Hope & Crosby Road pictures, and I've reviewed all of them: Road to Singapore (1940), Road to Zanzibar (1941), Road to Morocco (1942), Road to Utopia (1945), Road to Rio (1947), Road to Bali (1952), The Road to Hong Kong.

Just as when I first saw The Pirate Movie two decades ago, on my recent viewing, I was ready to hate this '80s pop updating of The Pirates of Pinzanse. And, just like so long ago, I was surprised at how good it was...and then surprised at how it steadily became more and more insipid until I did hate it. Read more.
